Welcome to Carrera Designs

My name is Rudy Carrera. I have had over 25 years experience in designing, building and creating beautiful, custom kitchens and baths. I have had the opportunity to work with world renowned designers and custom cabinet makers over the years.

I began this work in the early 80’s remodeling homes in the Los Angeles area. I moved my business to San Diego in 1993 due to the growing economy in this area. At this time I teamed up with California Design Center in Solana Beach to bring kitchen design and remodeling to their company. For 6 years I worked closely with customers to design and manage mid to high-end kitchen and bath remodels from start to finish. During that period I built many close relationships with leading custom cabinet companies nationwide and a multitude of professional, hardworking contractors.

Over the years the demand for my personal services increased and became ever present. In 2003 I started Carrera Designs and was able to begin offering my services and the competitive prices to my clients on a one on one, individual basis. I have enjoyed the ability to work closely and build a professional working relationship with my clients and pride myself in their satisfaction.

My niche in this business is that due to my many years of hands on experience in the design and construction field, I am able to not only design your project but oversee the construction and pay attention to the finer details that make your kitchen/bath unique.
